New Variant Dialog Box

The New Variant dialog box allows you to create a variant of the selected design part and specify any user-defined attributes.

Field	Description	Rules and Guidelines
Design Part	The name of the selected design part that will act as the parent of the new design part variant.	Display only.
Parent Variant	The variant name of the parent design part.	Display only.
Variant ID	The name of the new design part variant.	Required. Up to 128 characters.
Description	A description of the new design part variant.	Optional. Up to 240 characters.
Attributes Tab	Allows you to specify values for any user-defined design part attributes.
