Data Format Filter Dialog Box

The Data Format Filter dialog box allows you restrict the list of data formats that appear in the Data Formats and Mime Types main window. You can specify that only data formats whose fields match certain criteria or patterns will be listed in the content pane.

You can specify wildcard matching characters that include:

_ to match one character.

* or % to match any number of characters.

Field	Description	Rules and Guidelines
Ignore Case	A check box indicating whether the case of text strings is considered or is ignored when filtering.	Default: checked (ignore case). Note: the Ignore Case setting applies to all fields.
Data format	Shows the data formats that match the specified wildcard pattern for the name that identifies the data format.	Enter a text string with optional wild card characters. Default: Blank (any). Maximum length is 25 characters.
Class	The class of data formats to be displayed.	Choose a class from the list, or Enter a text string with optional wild card characters. Default: Blank (any).
MIME Type	The MIME Type(s) of the data formats to be displayed.	Enter a text string with optional wild card characters. Default: Blank (any).
Description	The description matching pattern for the data formats to be displayed.	Up to 240 characters. Enter a text string with optional wild card characters. Default: Blank (any).
Reset Filter	A button to clear the filter.	Click to clear all the fields in the dialog box
