New/Edit Remote Subordinate Dialog Box for Requests

The New/Edit Remote Subordinate dialog box enables you to define or change the details of the remote site that is to receive a request replication from the master site.

General Tab

Replication type

The type of replication.

Display only.

Master site

The master DB site that is responsible for sending the replication. This string consists of the node name, base database, and DB connection string.

Replication ID

The master baseline replication configuration.

Display only.

Node name

Lists the nodes registered on the Dimensions CM network.

Required.

DB connection

Lists the database connection strings that can be used to connect to the database server.

If this list is empty, use the Administration Console | Network Administration function to add values for this field.

Required.

Base database

Lists the base databases available on the node.

If this list is empty, use the Administration Console | Network Administration function to add values for this field.

Required.

Is replication enabled to this subordinate

Specifies whether the master site can replicate requests to the subordinate site.

Default: checked (enabled).

Is this online Replication

Specifies if online or offline (air-gap) replication will be used.

Default: checked (enabled).

Is subordinate replicating back to the master

Specifies whether the subordinate site can replicate requests back to the master site.

Default: unchecked (disabled).

Replicate requests to this site as read-only

Specifies whether the subordinate site can modify the replicated requests.

Default: unchecked (the requests can be modified).

Lists the request types in the base database. Select the types that you want to replicate.
