The New/Edit Base Database dialog box enables you to assign a base database to the current node, or edit the details of a currently assigned base database.

The network instance for the database. Select an existing instance or create a new one by entering a string in the field. For example: DIM10 NOTE: To change this value for an existing base database association, you must unassign the base database and then create a new base database association. |

Version number of the Dimensions CM release. For example: 10.1 |

Replication Enabled |
Enables or disables replication for this database. |

Name of the contact for the base database. |

Dimensions Root Directory |
Directory where Dimensions CM was installed. For example: C:\Program Files\Serena\ Dimensions 10.1\CM |

Site No |
A number that uniquely identifies the base database on your network. This is used to generate unique sequence numbers for requests. |
