This release introduces Serena® Command Center™ 1.1.1. Command Center provides the executive and development manager visibility to the current state of projects within their portfolio. As a central point of interaction, Command Center provides graphical and textual reporting on key project indicators. It links summary data to more detailed information, enabling executives and managers to better monitor their projects and to analyze problems to their root cause.
In its first release, Command Center provides insight into the portfolio of projects, including related baseline, build, and requirements information. The tool provides for role-based information security with the ability to filter and tailor its reports on an individual basis.
Command Center is made up of customizable, role-based views. Each view contains a collection of reports, or portlets, that contain text, charts, graphs, lists and indicators that reflect the status of various aspects of a project.

When viewing a tabular report, such as Portfolio Status, with a large amount of data such that there is more than one page of information, you only see the column labels on the first page.
If you choose to show periods that include future dates for which there is no data, the Backlog trend line drops to zero.
Some reports show a range of decimal values for the vertical axis even though the data can only be whole numbers.
If a user has viewed a report and later an administrator denies the role permission to view that report, the user can still see the report. To completely remove the report, the administrator must publish a new template that does not include the report.
Charts with dates on the horizontal axis do not use the format indicated by the locale setting. These dates show as mm/dd/yy format where mm is the month, dd is the day and yy is the year.
Command Center does not show multi-byte project names correctly at the top of the page in Project Overview and Baselines Overview.
If you start the Tomcat server before you start the database, Command Center shows an HTTP 500 error when you try and log in. The database must be started first.
