1.0 Containers & Traceability
- Traceability information is stored within baselines, so analyzing baselined versions of requirements will not only give you the content but also the valid links within a baseline.
- Links between requirements in a baseline cannot be changed.
- Traceability within any container can be analyzed.
- Containers can be created under any categories, and can be moved from one category to another.
2.0 Import Enhancements
- The browser-based Microsoft Word Import will now import not only plain text, but also formatting and images.
3.0 Usability Enhancements
- In addition to the Grid and Form view, an editable grid is introduced to allow for easier inline editing and multi-object editing.
- Using the editable grid view, you can common attributes for multiple requirements at one time.
- Collection rules are now available in the browser.
- Collections and document chapters can be populated based on user-defined queries.
- Embedded attachments are included when you publish documents and you can open them from the published documents.
4.0 Performance Enhancements:
- Communication with Oracle database has been improved for user experience.
- Performance of web services has been improved.
5.0 Other Enhancements:
- Support for Oracle 11g R2, Windows Server 2008R2, Firefox 3.6.
- Together with Prototype Composer 2010R1, processes, activities and interfaces can be added as images.
