Status Logs and Notifications

Any status messages generated by the deployment task processes are shown in the Activity Log tab of the release package.

You can use a notification rule for successful or failed automation tasks to send e-mail messages to any Serena Release Manager users who should be aware of the release deployment status.

Viewing the Activity Log for Deployment Results

You can view the deployment results for release packages through the Activity Log tab.

To view deployment results:

  1. View a release package.

  2. Select the Activity Log tab.

If your deployment task fails and you are unable to determine the cause through the Activity Log or notification message, see your Serena Release Manager administrator. Information on troubleshooting is in the Serena Release Manager Installation and Configuration Guide "Troubleshooting" chapter.
