When you update a project, your local files are refreshed to match the files that have changed in the repository. Note that if you locally modified a file and newer revisions exist in the repository, an error message will appear notifying you of the conflicts and suggesting that you use the synchronize view to merge the differences.
To perform an update, right-click the project and select Team | Update.
