Checking In Projects

When you check in a project, a read-only copy of the workfiles are left in the location and the revisions are checked into the Dimensions CM repository

NOTE  

  • Even though you are checking in at the project level, the actions occur at the file level. The only difference is that commands at the project level apply to all of the attached files.

  • You can perform the following features from various views within Eclipse, such as Resource view or Package Explorer view.

To check in a project:

  1. Right-click the project and select Team | Checkin.

    2. The Check In dialog box appears with a list of selected files.

  2. Modify the panels as necessary.

  3. Click Finish.

On successful completion, the check mark is removed from each file icon to indicate that the files are checked in.
