Adding Serena Business Manager Reports

Once Serena Business Manager is set as the default issue defect management provider for Dimensions, you can configure the set of requests that you can work on.

The request list is the lists of defects and issues that you want to have access to from within your IDE. To do this, you can choose to display requests from any of the reports that you have access to within the Serena Business Manager IDM project.

To make Serena Business Manager requests available:

  1. From the Serena Explorer, click the Issue Defect Management node to display the IDM Requests view. You may be prompted to log in.

  2. On the IDM Reqests view, click the Select Reports button. The Report Selection list dialog box appears.

  3. From list, choose the reports that you want to make available from within your IDE, and click the >> button.

  4. Click OK.

  5. Now, if you expand the Issue Defect Management node on the IDM Requests view, the reports that you added appear here.
