Serena Explorer Window

To launch the Serena Explorer window, select View | Serena Explorer. Once the window is open, you may keep it free-floating or dock it alongside the other Visual Studio windows.

Connect button

Click to open a connection to Dimensions.

Requests node

  • Right-click for options:

  • Open: Opens the list in a new tab.

  • Browse request: Opens a dialog to browse requests.

  • New request: Launches the New Request wizard.

  • Double-click to open the list in a new tab.

Baselines node

  • Right-click for options:

  • Open: Opens the list in a new tab.

  • New tip baseline: Launches the New Tip Baseline wizard.

  • Double-click to open the list in a new tab.

Favorite Dimensions Projects node

  • Right-click and select Add to Favorites to add a stream or project to your Favorites list.
