Action Item Wizard

Use the Action Item wizard to move one or more items to a new lifecycle state.

Use the Select Lifecycle State page to specify the lifecycle state you want to action the item(s) to (see below).

If you are actioning a single item, use the Modify Item Attributes Page to view and change the item's attributes.

Use the Delegate to Other Users Page to delegate the selected item(s) to other users, assign other users a role on the item(s), or remove previously delegated users.

Use the Add a Comment Page to include an optional comment for the action.

The Summary Page displays a summary of the actions to be performed on the selected item(s).

Select Lifecycle State Page

The first line on this page displays the specification, current status, and current phase of the item(s) you are going to action.

Field	Description	Rules and Guidelines
Next lifecycle state	Select this option to action the item to a normal next state. Select the next state from the list.	For single items only. Only valid next states are shown.
To specific state	Select this option if you want to action the item to any other state. Select a state from the list.	You will need the necessary privilege to action to one of these states.
Next	Click to move to the next page of the wizard.
Finish	Click to action the item(s) without populating any more pages in the wizard.
