Changing the Database Connection

You need to change SBM to connect to the sample database.

1. Open SBM Configurator.

2. Select Database Servers.

   

3. Uncheck Use sample database.

4. Select Use custom credentials and set the following values:

   • Schema/user name: dvm_sample

   • Password: dvm_sample

5. Click Test Connection to test the connection.

6. Click Apply, and click Yes in the dialog box.

7. Open SBM System Administrator.

8. Select File | Connect.

   

   For Oracle:

   • Set Database Login Id: dvm_sample

   • Set Database Password: dvm_sample

   For MSSQL:

   • Select the Data Source (If it does not exist, you will need to create it)

   • Set Database Login Id: Your DB admin user name

   • Set Database Password: The admin password

9. Click OK.
