Application releases follow this default workflow with Serena Release Manager. This can be tailored as needed to meet the needs of specific organizations.
Application releases include the following states:
Planning: Once the release has been created, the release engineer plans the release work, including defining the scope and timing of the release.
Review: The planned release content is reviewed with project stakeholders. When it is approved, it can be transitions to the next state.
In Progress: The release is under work.
Completed: The release has been deployed and can be closed.
