Adding a notesgrid attribute
Start with the pre-configured template. Modify the layout XML and layout XSL the way you want it. If you make the notesgrid attribute searchable, the search will look for only all values in the notesgrid.
- From the application toolbar, click Setup, and then select Customization.
- Select the Attributes Setup tab.
- Select the Scorecard/Notes Grid tab.
- Choose Notes Grid from the drop-down list.
- Click New.
- Under Properties, enter a name and a description. The system name will be generated. The default label is what the notesgrid will be named in summary views.
- If you want the notesgrid attribute to be global, select Global. A global attribute is required for all work item types and optional for any work type.
- For each of the configuration options (Layout and Layout XSL), edit the XML.
- Click Save.
Deleting a notesgrid attribute
If your organization is not using a notesgrid attribute, you can remove it. Even when it is assigned to a Summary tab.
- From the application toolbar, click Setup, and then select Customization.
- Select the Attributes Setup tab.
- Select the Scorecard/Notes Grid tab.
- Select Notes Grid from the list.
- Select a notesgrid attribute.
- Click Delete.
Editing a notesgrid attribute
Make your changes and then save them.
- From the application toolbar, click Setup, and then select Customization.
- Select the Attributes Setup tab.
- Select the Scorecard/Notes Grid tab.
- From the drop-down list, select Notes Grid.
- Select a notesgrid attribute.
- Make your changes.
- Click Save.
Viewing a notesgrid attribute
A notesgrid attribute can be viewed from the Scorecard/Notes Grid tab in the Attributes Setup tab.
- From the application toolbar, click Setup, and then select Customization.
- Select the Attributes Setup tab.
- Select the Scorecard/Notes Grid tab.
- Select Notes Grid from the drop-down.
- Select a notesgrid attribute.
