Serena On Premise customers should change their Administrator password from its default. (The default administrator password is KEYSTONE.) Use a strong password of 8 (or more) characters, with at least one capital letter, one numeral, and one symbol. Serena On Demand customers do not have an Administrator account and, consequently, do not need to change their Administrator password.
To change the Administrator password
- From the top-level navigation, open the Admin module.
- Select System Settings.
- Select the Security tab.
- Select the Users tab.
- Select the Administrator user from the Users tab.
- In Password, enter the new password.
