Whenever you see a pencil icon you can open a rich text editor. Use the rich text editor to apply common formatting options to the content you add: undo, redo, cut, copy, paste, bold, italics, underline, strike-through, ordered lists, unordered lists, indent, outdent, align left, align right, align center, justify, and apply text colors.
