The Organize tab of the Datasheet Properties, New Datasheet, and Datasheet Type Properties dialogs is used to determine how data is grouped and sorted on the datasheet. If you are creating or editing a datasheet that is assigned to a datasheet type, you cannot edit any of the datasheet properties on the Columns, Filters, Organize, Time Views, or Dashboard tabs on the New Datasheet or Datasheet Properties page:
- Group By Select the column's attribute name that will be used for the first grouping of data on the datasheet.
- Then By Select the column's attribute name that will be used for each of the consecutive groups of data. You do not need to select an attribute for each of the Then By lists.
- Sort By Select the column's attribute name that the datasheet's data will sort by first.
- Then By Select the column's attribute name that will be used to sort the datasheet data consecutively after the first sorting of data. You do not need to select an attribute for each of the Then By lists.
- Ascending Select this option if you would like the corresponding column sorted in ascending order.
- Descending Select this option if you would like the corresponding column sorted in descending order.
