Timephased

A timephased attribute (or field) is used to store information whose value can change over time. There are several types of timephased attributes: Timephased - Currency, Timephased - FTE, Timephased - Hours, Timephased - Nonlabor, and Timephased - Units. Some types of timephased fields include Labor Cost and Work Remaining TPA.

Adding a timephased attribute

Add a new timephased attribute. From the Type drop-down, select Timephased - CURRENCY, Timephased - FTE, Timephased - NonLabor, or Timephased - UNITS. If you select Timephased - FTE or Timephased - UNITS, you can assign rates to the attribute. If you select Timephased - FTE, you can use it with a labor attribute map.

To add a timephased attribute

From the application toolbar, click Setup, and then select Configuration.
Select the Attributes Setup tab.
Select the Attributes tab.
Click New.
Under Attribute Properties, name the new item type. The system name will be generated.
From the Type drop-down, select one of the following: Timephased - CURRENCY, Timephased - FTE, Timephased - HOURS, or Timephased - UNITS. Timephased attributes always have a roll-up type of sum. Timephased attributes are global by default. Timephased attributes are always dimensioned, but they cannot use MathML calculations.
Click Save.

Adding a Timephased - FTE attribute for labor attribute mapping

Labor attribute mapping is done using attributes that are based on the Timephased - FTE attribute type and have the Mappable option selected.

To add a Timephased - FTE attribute for labor attribute mapping

From the application toolbar, click Setup, and then select Configuration.
Select the Attributes Setup tab.
Select the Attributes tab.
Click New.
Under Attribute Properties, name the new item type. The system name will be generated.
From the Type drop-down, select Timephased - FTE. Timephased attributes always have a roll-up type of sum. Timephased attributes are global by default. Timephased attributes are always dimensioned, but they cannot use MathML calculations.
Click Save.
